01Overview

What working with us actually looks like.

No long sales process, and no mystery about what you are buying. This is how an engagement runs from the first email to the final report, what we will ask of you, and what you can expect from us in return.

02
Process

Five stages, one continuous thread.

You can join at any stage, whether you need a quick call check or a partner across a whole project. Wherever you start, the way we work stays the same.

01 / Diagnose

We tell you if it is worth it.

Every engagement starts here. We get to know your organisation, your idea and your deadline, and give you a straight answer on whether the funding is worth chasing, before anyone commits real time.

What happens

  • A short exchange about your goal, usually by email
  • We check eligibility, fit, timing and competitiveness
  • We tell you honestly: go, no-go, or rethink

What you leave with

  • A clear recommendation, with the reasons
  • A realistic sense of the effort and the odds
  • No obligation to go further
02 / Scope

We agree the work in writing.

If it is worth pursuing, we settle exactly what we will do together. Scope, roles, timeline and cost are agreed before work begins, so there are no surprises later, for either of us.

What happens

  • We define the work, the deadline and who does what
  • We agree scope and cost up front, in writing
  • We assemble the specialists your project needs

What you leave with

  • A clear, written scope and quote
  • A realistic timeline to the deadline
  • One point of contact who owns the work
03 / Build

We turn the idea into a proposal.

This is where the application takes shape. We write, structure and sharpen it, build the logic and the partnership, coordinate partner inputs, and keep everything moving toward submission.

What happens

  • We draft and structure the proposal to the criteria
  • We build the logic, work plan, budget and partnership
  • We coordinate partners and manage the submission

What you leave with

  • A complete, submission-ready proposal
  • A partnership with clear roles and inputs
  • A calmer run-up to the deadline
04 / Coordinate

We help you deliver it.

If the project is funded, the real work begins. We keep partners, timelines and evidence on track so delivery stays manageable and reporting stays honest, rather than becoming a scramble at the end.

What happens

  • We set up coordination, planning and evidence routines
  • We keep partners, deadlines and deliverables on schedule
  • We support financial monitoring and compliance

What you leave with

  • A project that runs on a clear rhythm
  • Evidence gathered as you go, not at the end
  • Far fewer surprises at review time
05 / Close

We help you finish well.

At the end, the details matter most. We prepare the reporting, package the deliverables for the funder, and help you capture what is reusable, so the results last beyond the funding period.

What happens

  • We prepare interim, final and close-out reports
  • We package deliverables and evidence for the funder
  • We help you capture what is reusable next time

What you leave with

  • Reports that hold up to scrutiny
  • A clean close-out and handover
  • Outputs you can reuse and be proud of

Models

Start small, or bring us in for the whole journey.

You do not have to commit to everything at once. Most clients start with a single, clearly scoped piece of work, and continue only if it makes sense.

Model 01

A single call check

Best when you have an idea and a deadline, and need a fast, honest read on whether to go for it before you spend real time.

Model 02

Full proposal support

Best when you have decided to apply and want a strong, submission-ready application delivered on time, without the last-minute panic.

Model 03

Delivery & reporting support

Best when your project is funded and you need experienced capacity to run it, keep the evidence, and report it properly.

Model 04

Ongoing capacity

Best when you want a funding partner on hand across several calls or projects through the year, as an extension of your team.

04
Relationship

What we ask, and what you can expect.

Good funded work is a partnership. Here is what makes it run smoothly on both sides.

What we ask of you

  • Honesty about your capacity, budget and constraints
  • A named contact who can make decisions
  • Inputs and documents on the dates we agree
  • Enough lead time before the deadline to do it well

What you can expect from us

  • A straight answer, even when it is no
  • Scope and cost agreed before we start
  • The right specialists, not a single generalist
  • Clear communication, and no jargon for its own sake

FAQ

Questions we hear before most engagements.

If your question is not here, ask us. A short email usually gets you a straight answer.

Do you guarantee funding?

No. No credible partner can, and we would be cautious about anyone who claims otherwise. We improve the fit, quality and management of your funding work, but the evaluation and the award decision rest with the programme authorities. Where a call is not worth your effort, we tell you before you invest in it.

How much does it cost?

Scope and cost are agreed in writing before any work starts. Depending on what you need, that can be a small fixed piece of work, support through a full proposal, or ongoing capacity during delivery. You will never be surprised by an invoice.

How quickly can you start?

Usually within a few days for an initial assessment. For a full proposal, the sooner you reach us before the deadline the better: ideally weeks, not days, so there is time to do it well.

Who actually does the work?

A small team scoped to your engagement. Depending on the work, that can be a project manager, a proposal writer, an academic, a trainer or a content producer. You will know who is involved and why, and you will have one point of contact throughout.

Can you join a project that has already started?

Yes. We regularly step into live projects to help with coordination, reporting or outputs when a team is stretched or a deadline is close.

Do you use AI in your work?

Yes, carefully. AI-assisted workflows speed up research, drafting and documentation, but strategy, eligibility logic and everything you receive is prepared and reviewed by people.

Tell us where your project stands, and we will take it from there.
